Review:
Siapa yang menyangka kalau buku ketiga dari seri ini adalah sebuah kisah misteri pembunuhan? Bagus juga. Saya tidak bisa menebak pembunuhnya dan cukup terkejut saat semuanya terungkap.
Di sini fokus cerita adalah keluarga Royal dan rahasia-rahasia mereka yang akan tersebar jika media berhasil mengetahuinya. Pembunuhan Brooke berhasil membuat media menyoroti keluarga itu karena tersangka utama adalah Reed. Selain itu, ada ayah kandung Ella yang ternyata masih hidup. Steve tidak suka Ella berhubungan dengan Reed dan dia bersikap seperti ayah pada umumnya yang memberikan jam malam. Untuk ukuran Ella yang terbiasa mandiri, keberadaan ayah yang tiba-tiba membuatnya kesal.
Reed punya motif dan kesempatan. Reputasinya yang buruk di masa lalu juga sama sekali tidak membantu. Saya bahkan seperti Ella agak curiga kalau Reed memang melakukannya karena sampai bab-bab akhir buku ini saya belum tahu siapa pembunuhnya. Bayangkan saja. Tidak ada tersangka lain yang tersedia pula.
Buku ini menyelesaikan semua drama di keluarga Royal, termasuk misteri kematian ibu kandung Reed. Harusnya sih sudah tamat. Tapi ternyata masih ada dua buku lagi dari seri ini. Sepertinya sih buku selanjutnya tentang Easton yang lucu itu.
