Review:
Memang Cinda Williams Chima tidak pernah mengecewakan. Di buku ini, pusatnya tidak lagi di Jack sebagai warrior heir tetapi karakter baru bernama Seph yang jelas-jelas seorang penyihir. Dia selalu dikeluarkan sekolah karena ada bencana sihir yang disebabkan olehnya.
Karena sudah berkali-kali berbuat masalah, Seph dipindahkan ke sebuah sekolah anak nakal yang terpencil. Tapi itu bukan sekolah biasa. Kepala sekolahnya mengumpulkan para penyihir untuk sebuah tujuan rahasia. Seph disiksa secara mental di sana sampai akhirnya dia diselamatkan oleh Linda Downey. Dari sana, Seph akan bertemu dengan karakter-karakter di buku pertama.
Ciri khas penulis yang saya suka adalah bagaimana dia menciptakan karakter-karakter yang banyak dan awalnya tidak ada hubungannya, tapi di akhir semuanya saling bekerja sama. Terus karakter-karakternya juga punya keunikannya masing-masing. Saya yakin seri ini juga sama. Buku selanjutnya sudah pasti menceritakan karakter yang berbeda.
